This is where it all began...

The above image is of Bobena, a village of 300 people from the ‘Boko’ tribe in northeast Benin, West Africa. This village was the first home of Andrew Jones, the founder of Aafia Pty Ltd and its flagship product Leadership Journey. Andrew was born to Australian parents at a hospital in neighbouring Nigeria and spent the formative years of his childhood here in this remote community.

Andrew completed his high school and university education in Australia and since then has travelled extensively in Africa and Asia as a training facilitator and to explore different aid and development contexts. Andrew is passionate about bridging the gap between the marginalised poor and the wealthy west by offering a product by which all parties benefit.
